Robert Krogle ​

​

Born in Santa Monica California, Robert Krogle spent his first forty years in the Southland before moving to North Idaho and now resides in Eastern Washington. "My childhood was typical of that time and place, organized sports, boating, fishing, surfing and an appreciation for all things natural".

​

Robert attended Chouinard Art Institute of Los Angles but during his education was called to duty by the California National Guard. He spent five and half months over seas serving his country and was awarded a bronze star and purple heart for his service. Upon returning to civilian life, Robert completed his last two years at art school.

​

Robert became a nationally recognized illustrator, working for such prestigious companies and Microsoft, Disney, Universal Studios and many fortune five hundred companies.

​

Robert, with his wife April, fostered a young girl, Christina for a year and volunteered part time at a recycling center for two years in North Idaho.

​

Within two years of moving North, Robert decided to make the predictable transition to Fine Art as so many illustrators of the past have done. He has continued to develop as one of the most respected oil painters and has won multiple awards, drawing inspiration from fellow artists and his environment.
