Artist Rochelle Lombardi is owner of “Going to the Sun Gallery” in Whitefish, Montana.  She has been a jeweler for over 25 years, graduating from the Gemological Institution of America (GIA), with her degree in custom jewelry design, casting, and jewelry repair.  She is also certified in Gemology, gem identification, and jewelry appraisal.

 

Rochelle’s interest in bronze art began over 15 years ago.  She has been sculpting ever since!  Her art can be found in homes and collections across the United States and Canada.  Her bronze art has been featured in “The Western Art Collector” magazine, “Montana Woman”, and also the cover of  “Rural Montana” magazine.  In 2017, she was recognized as one of the “best artists” in Whitefish.

 

Rochelle fondly calls Kalispell, Montana “home”, and has lived in the Flathead Valley for over 30 years. She has spent many years raising, and showing horses here. Her love for these animals is manifest in her bronze art and creations.  She has recently become  a co-owner of Ashley Creek Animal Clinic in Kalispell.  Rochelle is always expressing her delight with life.  She is truly an artist who lives the “beauty of her surroundings”!
